Lauren Kim
Lauren Kim Therapy
With a decade of experience across diverse clinical settings, I specialize in helping adolescents and adults navigate trauma, anxiety, and major life transitions. As a Native Hawaiian and Asian American clinician, and a new mom, my work is deeply informed by my lived experiences, centering on cultural identity, intergenerational resilience, and holistic healing.
In addition to my private practice and school-based group work, I am a Maryland Board-approved clinical supervisor and have served as an adjunct professor of art therapy at The George Washington University. I bridge clinical expertise with a personal, authentic approach to support your growth.

How I can help you
I am here to help you uncover your strengths as you move toward a more meaningful and grounded life. My goal is to create a warm, compassionate, and trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel truly seen and supported from our very first session. By honoring your unique challenges and viewing your well-being through a holistic lens—mind, body, spirit, and community—I provide a safe, authentic space for lasting growth.
My practice is rooted in a trauma-informed and integrative approach, blending traditional counseling with the restorative power of art therapy and mindfulness. Together, we will use these tools to transform distress into connection, self-awareness, and hope. Whether you are navigating a major life transition or seeking deeper healing, it is an honor to walk this path of discovery with you.
